Privacy policy

We handle your data responsibly!
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. This privacy policy informs the user of the website (hereinafter referred to as the ‘website’) about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the company (hereinafter referred to as the ‘operator’). This privacy policy also applies to all sub-websites.

Personal data (e.g. name, email address, telephone number) is only processed and transmitted by the operator in a lawful manner - in particular to fulfil contractual or legal obligations, due to overriding legitimate interests of the operator or on the basis of the user's consent.

The lawfulness of data processing is based on the Austrian Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The legal basis is specifically stated for each of the following processing operations.

Presentation of the website
The operator is constantly optimising the presentation and the service offered to users of the website. In order to better understand how the pages are used, the operator temporarily stores the following data each time this website is accessed: name of the website accessed, requested file, date/time, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type/version/language, operating system, previously visited page, length of visit, country of origin and anonymised IP address. By visiting this website, the user gives his conclusive consent to the short-term storage of the IP address of the terminal device in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The user's IP address will be deleted after the end of use of the website. The operator uses the aforementioned data in anonymised form solely for statistical purposes in connection with its offering.

What happens to your data in the event of user enquiries
When contacting the operator (e.g. via contact form or email), the following user details may be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event that follow-up questions arise: Title, first and last name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and enquiry-related data.

The personal data collected in this way will be deleted by the operator no later than three years after the enquiry has been processed. The personal data provided by the user will only be processed and used by the operator to the extent that it is necessary for processing the enquiry and/or providing the requested service.

The data processing is required in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

We remain responsible for the protection of your data even if we use a contract data processor. We only use processors outside the European Union if an adequacy decision has been issued by the European Commission for the third country in question or if suitable guarantees or binding internal data protection regulations are in place with the processor.

Self-promotion measures
In accordance with Section 107(3) of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, the operator reserves the right to permanently store the following data for its own advertising purposes: title, first name and surname, postal address, email address, telephone number, and to use this data to send offers and information about the operator's services and offers by post or email. The user can object to the processing of their data for this purpose when it is collected and at any time thereafter by sending an e-mail to the operator.

You can therefore rest assured
The operators of this website help you to protect your personal data. If the lawfulness of specific data processing is based on the user's consent, this can be revoked at any time (even partially) by sending an e-mail to the operator. Notwithstanding the deletion information provided for the individual data processing operations, deletion will not take place insofar as the personal data to be deleted is used for other lawful processing operations (e.g. self-promotion) in accordance with this privacy policy or applicable laws. The deletion of personal data may impair the functionality of the content offered on this website.

Final notes on the privacy policy
We have rewritten this privacy policy in 12/2022 to explain to you, in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act (DSG), what information we collect, how we use data and what choices you have as a visitor to this website.

Unfortunately, it is in the nature of things that these explanations sound very technical. However, we have endeavoured to describe the most important things as simply and clearly as possible.

We would also like to point out that, despite all the care we have taken, we cannot accept any liability for the completeness of this data protection declaration - primarily due to constantly changing legal requirements. However, you can rest assured: We handle your data very carefully - as if it were our own!
